The high-def rerelease takes advantage of the home console’s greater horsepower by adding additional graphical details and animations, remastered audio, and the inclusion of several new side missions and omission of several touch-centric minigames found in the original Vita version.

To promote the game, Ubisoft has released a new trailer today that showcases the graphical upgrade while giving a general overview on what to expect from the game. It can be viewed below.

We’ll have a review for Assassin’s Creed: Liberation HD up shortly, and will continue to bring you the latest news on the series as we get it. In the meantime, tell us, does Aveline’s adventure have your interest, or would you rather wait for the next traditional retail entry in the franchise?
