What's a game set in Victorian London without content based around Jack the Ripper? Certainly not Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, which will be extended by an add-on featuring the famous serial killer sometime post-launch.

What’s a game set in Victorian London without content based around Jack the Ripper? Certainly not Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, which will be extended by an add-on featuring the famous serial killer sometime post-launch.

Surprisingly enough, this news was revealed during Sony’s Tokyo Game Show press conference, which took place very early this morning. It’s a bit of a shock, given that the Assassin’s Creed games are more Western-focused, but we are getting close to the game’s late October release date. That said, no details were announced, which is a bit weird.

So, how will you be able to get your hands on this Jack the Ripper DLC? By buying the Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate season pass, of course! Ubisoft apparently didn’t learn its lesson last time around.

Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate will be released on October 23rd of this year, for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It will then make its way to Windows PC approximately one month later.
