This week, Canadian gamers will be able to purchase a brand new azurite blue PlayStation 3 console bundle that plays upon our love of all things hockey.

Scheduled for timed exclusivity at EB Games locations, then a mid-November launch at other stores, the aforementioned package will include a blue, 250GB PS3 console, an identically coloured DualShock 3 controller and a brand spanking new copy of EA Canada’s amazing NHL 14. Combined inside of one appealing and region-specific box, it will sell for a suggested price tag of $249.99, offering those who’ve yet to purchase the current generation console and its most recent hockey sim a chance to do so in time for the holiday season.

This isn’t the first time that the electronics giant has chosen to release a Canadian specific console bundle targeting hockey fans, and it probably won’t be the last. It’s a smart idea, which is certainly distinctly Canadian.
