Is gold your favourite colour? Is the 3DS your favourite console? Boy, does Nintendo have a treat for you with this New Nintendo 3DS XL. You’ll probably need some high-strength shades to shield your eyes from the blinding color of the face plates, but damn – that’s a good looking special edition.
The limited-run model is being released to commemorate the release of Hyrule Warriors: Legends – the 3DS version of the Wii U’s Hyrule Warriors released previously. The bundle will be available on March 24 for those of you living in the UK, but if you’re a North American native, the special edition probably looks a little familiar – it was released there last year to celebrate the release of The Legend Of Zelda: Tri-Force Heroes.
The downside? Well, besides the fact that it’s going to sell out extremely quickly, Hyrule Warriors: Legends isn’t included in the deal. However, news has broken that the game will support the use of several different Amiibo that endow you with special boons including enhanced weapons. Additionally, a bunch of new characters and maps will be included in the 3DS version.
