You know that HD re-release of DOOM 3 that happens to come with never-before-released levels, full versions of DOOM I and II, and 3D support that no one really wanted but no one’s really complaining about? Well we know when that’s being released. And I’m going to try my hardest to get through this article without making a Hell pun.
DOOM 3 BFG Edition will be terrorizing retail shelves and digital marketplaces on October 16 for US, 19 for UK. Trying to squeeze every feeling of a throwback out of the release, the console versions will run you $39.99, while the PC version will clock in at $29.99. Which is good, since the PC version will hopefully be smoother to run than the console versions. RAGE was just a one-time thing, right?
And of course, DOOM 4 will see the light of day when Hell freezes over.
