Thanks to Devolver Digital, the PC classic will spread its wings and fly to the above two devices with shotguns in hand. In doing so, it’ll bring a wealth of first-person shooting history to PlayStation gamers. That’s because the Megaton Edition won’t just offer the core game, it’ll come packed with a few extras as well.

Its list of contents includes:

Improved versions of Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition
Duke Caribbean, Duke it out in D.C. and Nuclear Winter expansions
Duke Nukem 3D’s original, 1996 version

Duke Nukem 3D, in all of its gory brilliance, is a game that will always have a special place in my heart as it’s one of the first titles that I purchased with my own money. I didn’t stop playing it for over a year and even spent a lot of time with its Nintendo 64 port. Still, I never got a chance to play its expansions or Atomic Edition, which means I’ll definitely be picking up Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition in January.

If you can’t wait until the beginning of next year, and want your Duke Nukem fix now, PC and Mac versions of the Megaton Edition are currently available for purchase.
