Following its release, Techland’s Dying Light has been criticized by some for being too easy. And, to its credit, the developer has decided to act instead of overlooking the supposed fault, by creating a new difficulty mode for those concerned parties.
“Coming soon,” this free update will not only make the things that go bump in the night more challenging, but further emphasize stealth as well. On top of that, it will also introduce some new skins into the experience, which should please those who like to alter characters’ appearances. This will not be the last noteworthy update for the game, though, as it’s simply “the first of many additions to come.”
Dying Light‘s first piece of paid DLC, Cuisine & Cargo, was released a couple of days ago and is available as part of the title’s season pass. It, like the aforementioned update, is also just the first part of the game’s DLC plans, and is noteworthy for introducing a couple of very difficult missions. The season pass’ final two add-ons will be released in March and May, respectively.
