So, where to start? How about Epic’s latest and greatest vehicular invention, the B.R.U.T.E. First hinted at via teaser images released earlier in the week, this gargantuan mountain of metal can be piloted and boasts eye-watering destructive power. Do note, however, that should you be fortunate enough to stumble upon one, bringing a teammate along for the ride is in your best interests. It’s entirely possible to go lone wolf and pilot a B.R.U.T.E. solo but with both pilot seats filled, movement and combat duties are shared.

And speaking of combat, each mech comes armed with a heavy-duty shotgun and missile launcher, as well as the ability to literally crush buildings and opponents underfoot.

In addition to the above, Season X introduces what Epic is calling Rift Zones. What are they and what do they do? You’ll have to go exploring to find that out for yourselves, though a brief description provided by the developer should give you a good idea of what lies in wait.

The Zero Point Explosion has made the island volatile! Locations once thought to be lost are beginning to appear, but they aren’t the same as they once were… Drop in and explore to discover what mysterious gameplay changes they have in store.

In other words, Rift Zones are assuredly the means in which players will have access to old locations from past seasons. We’ve already received confirmation of Dusty Divot’s return, of course, but we expect reports of other familiar locales to surface over the course of the season.

That about wraps up the major talking points for Fortnite Season X, but if you’re hungering for further details, hit the link below for every last tweak and change. Enjoy!
