Injustice: Gods Among Us Will Offer Some Swag With Special Editions

Greetings true believers (looking forward to the hate mail). We’ve had an eye on Injustice: Gods Among Us for a while now down here in the We Got This Covered Bunker. I don’t think there is a nerd alive who hasn’t had the arguments of which superhero would win in a fist fight, and for the most part there hasn’t been any way to settle the score. Sure, there was Mortal Combat vs DC Universe, however considering that game was pretty much terrible, I’m going to go back to pretending it never existed. (I’d really recommend that you do the same)

Well, come April 16th, gamers will finally be able to put an end to those questions. The 2D fighter finally gives you a chance to have Superman and Batman duke it out until only one of them is standing. Considering the massive amount of interest this is getting from the comic book community, it makes sense that Warner Bros. would want to capitalize and release a special edition.

The Injustice: Gods Among us Battle Edition will not only net you a copy of the game, but you’ll get three exclusive skins based on Wonder Woman, Superman and Batman from the DC COMICS – THE NEW 52 series and a pretty slick looking fight stick. The Fight Stick, while certainly not the most uniquely named product, seems to be pretty heavy duty. The lightweight controller boasts a non-skid foam underside, a lockout feature for the Start, Select, and Guide buttons as well as having adjustable lights for the buttons and the joystick. I imagine that last part is more for players of my caliber who to distract their opponent if they want to have any chance of winning. This package will put you back around $149.99, which is honestly a pretty good price all things considered. You can check out a picture of everything included below.

For those of you looking to grab some extra swag without a fight stick, the Injustice: Gods Among Us Battle Edition will put you back $99.99 but offers some other unique goodies. You’ll get a digital movie download, and Injustice comic book and a pretty bad ass collectible figurine as well as the three extra skins.

So what say you, reader? Think you’re going to drop the extra cash to grab these goodies? Let us know in the comments.
