UPDATE: PlayStation 3 users can now take part in this promotional venture.

If you need something to keep you busy this weekend, BioWare may have an answer for you. The latest Mass Effect 3 Bounty Weekend (Operation Exorcist) has set a pretty lofty goal, asking players to take out 1,000,000 Cerberus Phantoms between 6pm Pacific Friday, April 27, 2012 and 5am Pacific Monday, April 30th. If we manage to pull this off, every player will get access to a special Victory Pack filled with goodies. However, if that’s not a big enough incentive to bring you back to the battlefront, if your squad manages to survive until extraction on any map set to gold difficulty, you’ll find yourself walking out with a brand new Commendation Pack.

Sadly, PS3 players are going to have to sit this one out as it’s only open to Xbox 360 and PC gamers.

Is this enough to bring you back for a few more rounds of multiplayer, or have you already moved on to a new obsession?
