While it fails to include any actual gameplay footage from The Crew, it does do a solid job of showcasing what players can expect. Sleek cars, high-speed chases, weaving through traffic and copious wreckage are just some of the sights and experiences that we can look forward to with the game. The trailer also spotlights the unique “Faction Wars” aspect of the multiplayer mode.

As many know by now, things have not been going smoothly for Ubisoft over the past month. Both Assassin’s Creed: Unity and Far Cry 4 experienced some frustrating launch issues. Unity in particular was so bad that Ubisoft ended up offering a free game to those who purchased the Season Pass for that title.

So, suffice to say, Ubisoft has a lot riding on the release of their ambitious new racer. While the developer’s claims earlier today that the launch of The Crew should go off without a hitch are promising, plenty of other recent titles have promised the same, but failed to do so.

The Crew launches tomorrow on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC. Our review of the open-world racer will be up later this week, so stay tuned!
