This morning, Warner Bros. Interactive and Traveller’s Tales Games unleashed a comedic, 70s-inspired trailer for LEGO The Hobbit, which will undoubtedly brighten up quite a few tired faces.

Using disco era music and effects for added hilarity, this new look at one of spring’s more popular releases is well worth checking out. That isn’t only true because of its comedy, though, as there’s more to it than that. In fact, it introduces some of its classes, as well as a new buddy system, which lets characters work together to achieve certain goals.

LEGO: The Hobbit will infuse TT’s witty charm with the first two movies in Peter Jackson’s film trilogy when it launches at the end of April.

Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.
