Star Wars: The Force Awakens

See The New Limited Edition Star Wars Figures For Disney Infinity 3.0

Disney Interactive is injecting Disney Infinity 3.0 with a little bit more light this month. In the run up to Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the studio has released six limited-edition Star Wars Light FX figures to be used with their sandbox game. All of the characters wield lightsabers that light up once they are placed on the Disney Infinity Base, and included here are Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader from the Rise Against The Empire set and Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi from Twilight Of The Republic.

Each one of the six figures is exclusive to a particular retailer, meaning you will have to go on a bit of a scavenger hunt to get them all. Here’s the full list of who is getting sold where in the US, where the figures are already available.

For UK fans of the Force, the figures will arrive a little later on December 18th to coincide with the release of the new film.

  • Luke Skywalker – Argos
  • Darth Vader – GAME
  • Anakin Skywalker – Smyths
  • Yoda – Tesco
  • Obi-Wan Kenobi – Sainsbury’s

Unfortunately, there appears to be no UK release for the Kanan Jarrus figure.

The figures themselves seem to have the exact same moulds as their previously released, non-glowing counterparts. The only difference is that the lightsabers are a lot more bulkier, presumably to properly harness all of that Jedi energy.
