Since its launch, Mass Effect 3 has been in constant orbit around the planet of DLC, and has already received some fairly significant additions. One of which, the Rebellion Pack, was outed by Reddit user derptemp6698 before its official announcement by Sony Hong Kong. This tried and tested tipster has now returned, and he’s sharing some rather intriguing rumours concerning an Earth based extension for the game.

According to the user, Mass Effect 3: Earth will contain the following:

“The fighting is fiercest when it’s your home at stake! Mass Effect 3™: Earth adds mods, gear, and new maps for Rio, Vancouver, and London. It features 3 new weapons: Piranha assault shotgun, Acolyte pistol, and Typhoon light machine gun. Six new human N7 classes are also available: Destroyer, Paladin, Demolisher, Slayer, Shadow, and Fury!”

No source or speculative release date has been provided and an EA representative has said that the company doesn’t comment on rumor or speculation; However, there is a definite air of authenticity to this one, and I expect that more details will be unearthed in the near future.
