Earlier this morning, Capcom and Microsoft partnered to announce brand new updates/DLC for two of Xbox One’s best launch titles, Dead Rising 3 and Forza Motorsport 5.

First up is Forza Motorsport 5, which will “soon” receive vehicular price adjustments, earned credit allotment alterations and a couple of new race modes in the form of drag racing and a multiplayer “Tag” option. These do not currently have a release date, so stay tuned for more information.

Last, but certainly not least, is the news regarding Dead Rising 3, which currently stands as my favourite next generation title. The fantastic, open world zombie game’s developers over at Capcom Vancouver previously revealed that several different story-based add-ons are in the works and the first one has been officially outed today.

Expected to release next week, via digital distribution, Operation Eagle will stand as the first episode in Capcom’s Dead Rising 3: Untold Stories of Los Perdidos expansion set. Telling the story of Spec Ops Commander Adam Keane, the DLC pack will task players with finding the missing President of the United States, within a mission that will challenge what its protagonist believes in.

In addition to the extra mission that it will bring to the existing Dead Rising 3 experience, Operation Eagle will also introduce five new weapons, one new combo weapon, a new clothing outfit, extra achievements and additional experience points that can be utilized within the main game.

Finally, the game will be releasing a free demo onto the Xbox One Games Store today, which will allow players to partake in two, twenty minute timed sandbox sessions.

You can check out all the details in the press release below.
