On April 2, Namco Bandai Holdings will be making a structural change to the way its internal development studios are set-up. The plan is to assign them all to a separate company, which will be referred to as Namco Bandai Studio. It will be made up of close to one thousand employees who happen to already be a part of the Japanese video game firm.
The decision was made in order to speed up development times, while allowing the company to have tighter control of its internal studios. Considering both of those things will end up benefiting both Namco Bandai and us gamers, it’s a win-win situation.
