New Need For Speed Trailer Presents Five Ways To Play

One of the main selling points of Ghost Games' upcoming Need for Speed reboot is how much freedom it provides the player. It's something I noticed when I demoed it at E3, and it's, of course, been talked about throughout quite a few promotional trailers.

Instead of making armchair racers play just one way, Need for Speed will actually allow for five different play styles. Outlined in a new trailer that was released today, they include the high-speed Racer, dangerous and cunning Outlaw, black thumbed Builder, team-focused Crew and outgoing Style categories. It’s up to you as to how you’ll play and which category you’ll eventually fall into, but it’ll no doubt be fun to experiment.

If this trailer seems familiar, that’s because it kind of is. Although it’s new, it covers almost the exact same ground that one of its predecessors did months ago. Still, it’s a relatively new look at what should be a very solid racing game.

Need for Speed (full-stop) will be released on November 3rd, for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC (via Origin).
