The release of the much-anticipated game has excited everybody, with some fans embracing the game with a little cosplay a la Burton. Donning a long blonde wig, pointed elven ears, and the pants and corset combo, the actress looked picture-perfect as the character as she appears in Breath of the Wild, one of the most favored iterations of the Princess. Burton shared the photos to her Twitter account which only got Zelda fans more hyped for the game’s release.

She wasn’t alone either, as another fan joined her in her quest to recreate the characters. Jessica Nigri is a well-known cosplayer, and voice actress, brought a little sexy to the character of Ganon.

We love it when we see our fandoms all colliding and coming together, and now that Star Trek: Picard is done, it is great to see Burton throwing herself into her other passions. The cosplay isn’t the only link the actress has with the game, as she has appeared on Critical Role, a weekly show where voice actors and lovers of all things nerdy play their way through an epic Dungeons and Dragons campaign. The show is hosted by Matthew Mercer, who recently announced as the voice of Ganondorf in Tears of the Kingdom.

Now that everyone is suitably hyped for the release of the game, make sure you get ready as Zelda: The Tears of the Kingdom is available to buy from midnight EDT time on Friday, May 12.
