This week’s PlayStation Plus update reveals that the action game Malicious will be added to the North American subscriber’s Instant Game Collection when the PlayStation Store updates later today. Additionally, the Spring Fever sale will continue with a discount on nearly every Grand Theft Auto title in the franchise.

Malicious is a third-person action title that has players battle waves of fighters and several epic bosses, in an effort to “rid the world of the evil force of Malicious”. As the bosses are defeated players acquire their powers and weapons, which can then be used to perform “devastating combo attacks” as the game progresses to the “final showdown between good and evil.”

Outside of the new addition to the free Instant Game Collection, the PlayStation Store Spring Fever sale adds a new promotion to help usher in the launch of Grand Theft Auto V on September 17th. Between now and April 23rd all Grand Theft Auto titles available on the PlayStation Network will be discounted 30% from normal store prices for all users, with PlayStation Plus subscribers able to save up to 50%. The sale gives these GTA franchise titles the following Plus discount price:

Grand Theft Auto 3 (PS2 Classic) – $4.89
Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars (PSP; PS Vita Supported) – $9.79
Grand Theft Auto IV Digital (PS3) – $9.79
GRAND THEFT AUTO IV: THE ULTIMATE EDITION (PS3) – $14.69
Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City (PS3) – $9.79
Grand Theft Auto IV – Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony (PS3) – $9.79
Grand Theft Auto IV – Grand Theft Auto: The Lost and Damned (PS3) – $4.89
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PS2 Classic) – $7.34
Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories (PSP; PS Vita Supported) – $9.79
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (PS2 Classic) – $4.89
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories (PSP; PS Vita Supported) – $9.79

The only other addition to the Spring Fever sale is a 20% PlayStation Plus launch week discount for the 8-bit retro RPG Dragon Fantasy Book I. This makes the new old-school RPG adventure game a mere $7.99 for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
