North American pre-purchases of Pokemon Sun and Moon can now be preloaded on 3DS via the Nintendo eShop, Serebii has confirmed. Of course, the early preparation only applies to digital copies of the game, so if you've got either title on physical pre-order, you don't need to do anything other than hope your copy arrives on release day.

The download size is set at 3.2GB, so if you’re still rocking a standard 3DS rather than an XL, you’ll want to look at either upgrading or getting yourself a bigger external storage – standard versions of the console only ship with a 2GB SD card.

Don’t forget, either, that you’re likely to want a bit more space than that due to the above not taking into account the special demo, which needs to be installed along with the full game to transfer the special items obtained from the former.

Pokemon Sun and Moon‘s launch on November 18 is going to be a big day for Nintendo and The Pokemon Company.
