Resistance: Burning Skies Story Trailer Looks Back On August 15, 1951

Nihilistic Software's most recent trailer for Resistance: Burning Skies uses the game's main character, Staten Island fireman Tom Riley, to narrate a look back on a fictional version of August 15, 1951. It's on that day (in digital space,) where the Vita game's storyline will kick off, with Chimeran ships invading New York City. As many of the people he's sworn to protect are captured and taken away for potential conversion, our civil servant friend ends up deciding to take up arms against the city's unwelcome guests. His end goal, like many fictional heroes, is to save his wife.
