Hit ‘sports’ title Rocket League – the game all about playing soccer by punting the ball around a pitch with lightning-fast cars – is getting a bunch of free and exclusive Halloween-themed items on October 18, developer Psyonix has announced.

According to a post on the PlayStation Blog, several new items will be released as part of the update, and players will have a chance at receiving each time they complete a match.

At Psyonix, we LOVE Halloween, and we know that many of you love Halloween too! That’s why, starting 18th October, we’ll be unveiling sweet, limited-time Halloween-themed items in Rocket League‘s customisation Garage!

Available as post-match item drops, each Halloween item can be unlocked simply by playing matches like you normally would (win or lose!). Once you’ve found an item, it’s yours to keep forever, but if you don’t find the ones you want by 2nd November, you’ll have to wait until next year for a shot at them again.

Here’s the list of items you’ll be able to find on October 18:

  • “Calavera” Antenna

  • “Candy Corn” Rocket Trail

  • “Carriage” Wheels

  • “Fuzzy Brute” Antenna

  • “Fuzzy Vampire” Antenna

  • “Pumpkin” Topper

In addition to the seasonal fun, Rocket League is getting some paid-for DLC on October 13 titled Revenge Of The Battle-Cars, which will add new vehicles for players to get behind the wheel of.
