Deep Silver and Volition’s Saints Row IVÂ is approaching its scheduled North American release date of August 20th and as is the case with many high-profile game releases, it’s getting a limited collector’s edition, by the name of The Super Dangerous Wub Wub Edition. This odd-sounding title may stem from the fact that in addition to the game and a few downloadable pre-order bonuses, those who buy the package will be rewarded with a 12-inch replica of the game’s infamous Dubstep Gun.
Along with an alternate cover, other bonus items include an 8-inch statue of fallen Third Street Saint Johnny Gat and a Dubstep Doomsday Button, presumably for dropping phat beats alongside the gun. In-game bonuses will include the ‘Merica gun, an Uncle Sam suit for the main character, and a Screaming Eagle VTOL jet.
The Super Dangerous Wub Wub Edition of Saints Row IV is currently scheduled for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions only, likely due to the PC’s diminished presence in the world of physical media. We will keep you updated as more news regarding the game drops.
