As many predicted, all the Sony teaser videos released over the past week have culminated into an underwhelming live-action ad for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.
The spot contains four characters from the game’s roster; Nathan Drake (Uncharted), good Cole MacGrath (Infamous), Sackboy (LittleBigPlanet), and Kratos (God of War). It starts with footage from some of the teaser videos, then progresses to a short fight between Drake and MacGrath. After which Sackboy flies in, and then all three team up on Kratos. Finally, at the end there is a lame little exchange with the player who is apparently controlling the live-action Kratos.
It’s not the worst commercial in the world, but it feels like a huge disappointment after waiting through a week of teaser videos.
