Soul Calibur V Arriving In 2012

Soul Calibur V will arrive in 2012 for the XBOX 360 and PS3. During Namco Bandai's "Level Up Dubai 2011" event, the game was revealed to the public. The story is said to take place 17 years after the events of the first game and the only confirmed characters are Siegfried and Nightmare. The game will follow a new character called Patroklos who is the son of Sopithia. Nothing else is really known but we did get a teaser trailer.

I’ve never been a huge fan of fighting games but I do like the Soul Calibur series. I remember playing number 4 for the 360 a few years back and enjoying it quite a bit. I find that it’s not as technical as a game like Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 and therefore, easier to get a handle on and become good at.

I’m happy that they’ve announced a fifth one and I’m looking forward to seeing where the series goes this time around.
