We come bearing good news for fans of the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series, as the boarder has personally confirmed that he’s partnered with Activision for a new console outing as well as a new mobile game.

As a huge fan of the first four games in the iconic series, I’m extremely excited by this news. Hopefully the team will bring things back to their roots, and deliver something spectacular. Something that will make us forget the peripheral-based disappointments and Underground 2, which was far too stupid.

There is a caveat to this news, though, as those who’ve been awaiting the release of Tony Hawk’s iOS game, Shred Session, will be disappointed to hear that the mobile exclusive “has been put on hold indefinitely.”
