Thankfully, there’s more to this news than a simple, albeit welcomed, release date reveal. In fact, a brand new trailer also accompanies the date, alongside a few new screens, and it’s a force to be reckoned with.

What you’ll see in the aforementioned tease is more than just a pretty girl with a flashlight in hand. Things actually begin innocently enough, with a power-less cabin needing some fixing, but quickly turn to shit thanks to a myriad of creepy factors, including darkness and a creeping enemy. That, and deranged clowns, which always make things ten times scarier.

We can all look forward to playing through Until Dawn – a PlayStation 4 exclusive – on August 25th, 2015.
