This developer diary, which you can watch above, details the design and gameplay decisions that the development team decided to implement, along with the task of creating monsters by carefully blending fantasy with realism. This process is detailed by character artist Bill Daly, while gameplay designer Damien Monnier and animator Jamie Bury discuss how Geralt will track down and eliminate the creatures within The Witcher 3’s vast world. You can also catch a glimpse of Geralt taking on flying Harpies and underwater Drowners.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt marks the newest release in the long-running series, and will continue the story of Geralt and his attempts to stop the mysterious army known as the Wild Hunt, as they invade the Northern Kingdoms, leaving behind a trail of blood and fiery ruin. It’s set to release on May 19th for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Stay tuned for our full review, as it will be posted in the coming weeks.
