Worms Revolution Dev Diary Reveals Classes And Customisation

If you cut a worm in half you will not, despite what you may have heard, get two worms. However, expose it to a variety of eccentric weaponry and you will, according to Worms Revolution at least, end up with something even more remarkable.

As previously announced, Worms Revolution will mark an evolution of the franchise as, for the first time, players will be able to choose from four different classes of worm. The latest Dev Diary from Team17, details the strategic significance this will have on the game and  highlights the various customisation options available:

For those that wished to find it, there has always been strategic depth behind this banana-bombing series. With the addition of four distinct classes, each facilitating a different approach, Worms Revolution looks set to bring this very much into the fore. The scientist alone, with his bulbous head and support specialisation, has me wriggling around in anticipation for the game’s Q3 (July, August, September) release this year.
