During Microsoft’s E3 2013 press conference last week, the company revealed that for a limited time they will give Xbox Live Gold subscribers two free Xbox 360 games each month. The exact details of how this would work were not revealed during E3, however, the platform holder has now provided us with a schedule on when the games will be available for download.

According to the official Xbox website, Xbox Live Gold members can expect to get one free download on the 1st and 16th of each month, through the remainder of this year. A short post on the site’s promotional page reads:

“As our way of saying thanks for being part of this community, we’re giving all qualifying Gold members two free Xbox 360 games each month for the rest of the year. Each specially selected, fan-favorite game will be available to download only for a limited time, so grab them before they’re gone and keep them no matter what. Tell a friend about this offer so they can go Gold and get free games too.”

Fable III is the current game that Xbox Live Gold subscribers can pick up (available until June 30, 2013) as part of the timed promotion, and July will see Halo 3 and Assassin’s Creed II (order to be determined) become free downloads. Microsoft has not yet announced any of the other games associated with the offer.
