Zen Studios has announced that the second set of Star Wars Pinball tables, subtitled Balance of the Force, will launch as downloadable content for the studio’s various platforms sometime later this fall. Similar to their first Star Wars themed tables, this new DLC pack will give buyers three brand new tables to play; Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, Starfighter Assault and Darth Vader.

Star Wars Pinball‘s Return of the Jedi table centers around the Battle of Endor, as players help the rebellion destroy the Sith and the semi-completed (but fully armed and operational) second Death Star. The Starfighter Assault table allows players to choose between the Rebel Alliance’s fleet or the Galactic Empire’s armada, and then lead their side to victory using iconic Starfighters like the X-Wing and TIE Fighter. Finally, the Darth Vader table has players pursue both the Jedi and Rebels, before facing off against Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker.

As with all of Zen’s DLC tables, Star Wars Pinball: Balance of the Force will integrate seamlessly into existing Star Wars Pinball games across the studio’s pinball platforms. At last count, this will include; Xbox Live Arcade, Steam, PlayStation Network for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita, Nintendo Wii U eShop, Apple App Store, Google Play, Windows 8, Mac App Store and Kindle Fire HD.

We will keep an eye out for an exact release date for the next pack of Star Wars Pinball tables and let you know as soon as it is announced. In the meantime, check out the Balance of the Force teaser trailer and the DLC’s first screenshots embedded below.
