4) Green Arrow: Escape From Super Max
While Stephen Amell has made the role his own in TV show Arrow, the character of Green Arrow has yet to make his way to the big screen – something which doesn’t look to change soon, as the character is not set to appear in the upcoming Justice League films. However, if things had turned out differently we could have had a Green Arrow movie back in the 00s.
The film would have been a fresh take on the superhero movie, too. In a script written by David Goyer and Justin Marks, the plot was to see Green Arrow framed for murder and imprisoned in top-security facility Super Max, alongside various B and C-level DC villains. That said, such big-hitters as the Riddler, Lex Luthor and the Joker were set to make cameo appearances.
As it shares some similarities with the likes of the upcoming Suicide Squad, this might be another film that could have come to something nowadays, but was just mooted at the wrong time.
