Thor: Ragnarok
The previous two Thor movies are usually considered to be amongst the worst MCU efforts, but things could well change with Thor: Ragnarok.
With talented indie/comedy director Taika Waititi on board, it looks to be the funniest Marvel film outside of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise. Not to mention also one of the most stylistically unique and exciting.
This second trailer build on the first by unveiling some previously unknown story points. While the first preview looked like it was setting up a buddy movie between Thor and Hulk set on the planet Sakaar, this one teases that the God of Thunder will create his own team – including Valkyrie and even his trickster brother Loki – in order to stop Cate Blanchett’s awesomely evil villainess Hela, the Goddess of the Underworld, from taking over Asgard.
We’ll see if the move is as thunderous as we hope when it lands on November 3rd.
