Another of Peter Parker’s wildlife-themed foes, Vulture has actually been hinted at in Marc Webb’s recent movies and seemed to be a shoe-in for a spot in any Sinister Six film. He was also rumoured to be making an appearance in the canned fourth instalment of Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man series, with John Malkovich apparently as good as cast for the role.
The appeal for a villain like Vulture would again be visual. Some of the more enjoyable scenes in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 were those that saw Spidey take to the skies, and his opening scene in the movie captured what was truly exciting about the way he does what a spider can.
A winged foe like Vulture would force Peter back into the air and could offer up some fairly spectacular fight scenes.
