5) The Avengers And The Defenders Team-Up
The Crossover: This is the one that most people want to happen. Though the MCU is all-inclusive, Marvel’s Netflix series have carved out their own niche of the franchise that is very different from the movies. Nonetheless, fans still want to see the soon-to-be Defenders crossover onto the big screen. The common idea is that they could appear in Avengers: Infinity War to help the Avengers defeat Thanos.
Likelihood – 9/10: Much has been said about why this one should and shouldn’t happen. Logistically, it would be a nightmare to match up the schedules of the movies with the TV shows and, narratively, it could be jarring to jam in these characters that film audiences aren’t familiar with. Still, Marvel has always trumpeted the fact that all their properties are connected, so it would be hypocritical to never have the two intertwine. Overall, this one is being talked about and teased too much for it to not happen in some capacity.
