Avengers: Infinity War Art Gives New Looks At Thanos, Thor And More

It's hard to believe, but we're now only a few months away from Avengers: Infinity War. Yes, the event movie to end all event movies is on the horizon and quickly barreling down on its May 4th release date. Thankfully, Marvel's been giving us quite a lot to feast on in terms of promotional material and with two thrilling trailers already out in the wild, fans are starting to form a pretty good idea of what to expect later this year.

That being said, we’re always happy to see more from the pic and today, we’ve got just that. Thanks to some tie-in merchandise (obviously), new looks at Thor, Thanos, Black Widow and a few others have arrived. Given that this is simply promo art on a mug, it’s hardly the most exciting thing, but with so many of the characters set to undergo pretty drastic changes in their appearance in Infinity War, it’s nice to get another glimpse of what’s in store.

Besides, it’ll probably be a while before another trailer is released, so stuff like this is sure to help tide fans over, right?

Again, it’s not much, but the Mad Titan certainly looks like a pretty formidable threat with his fully-powered Infinity Gauntlet, while Iron Man’s Model-Prime armor continues to intrigue us. Those of you who familiar with the comics will know that the suit comes to be shortly after the introduction of Riri Williams, a whip-smart 15-year-old who pushes Tony Stark into upping his game. And so, Iron Man’s greatest invention is born, though we’ll likely have to wait until May 4th before we discover all of its many bells and whistles.

Of course, Tony won’t be the only one getting an upgrade, as Avengers: Infinity War will open up a whole new arsenal for many of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes – be it the aforementioned Model-Prime armor, Cap’s dual shields, or even the fearsome Jarnbjorn, Thor’s new Dwarven-forged battle ax that looks set to take the place of Mjolnir.

This is surely good news for the gang, too, as they’ll need all the help they can get in the fight against Thanos, and we can’t wait to see them put their upgraded gear to use in just a few short months.
