Avengers: Infinity War Art Reveals First Official Look At Iron Spider Arms

Earth's Mightiest Heroes will be sporting some sweet new clothes in Avengers: Infinity War. From Tony Stark's so-called Prime Armor to Thor and his mighty new weapon Stormbreaker – a hammer/axe hybrid that will soon replace Mjolnir in the God of Thunder's arsenal – Marvel's costumed crusaders are gearing up for a whole new era. From Tony Stark’s so-called Model-Prime Armor to Thor and his mighty new weapon Stormbreaker – a hammer/axe hybrid that will soon replace Mjolnir in the God of Thunder’s arsenal – Marvel’s costumed crusaders are gearing up for a whole new era. And there is perhaps no better example of that evolution in action than Peter Parker and his revamped Iron Spider suit.

Initially showcased to the wide-eyed Parker in Spider-Man: Homecoming, the Iron Spider armor is another headline-worthy creation from Stark Industries. Now fighting alongside the Avengers following his clash with Adrian Toomes (AKA The Vulture), Tom Holland’s wall-crawler is clearly in need of some improvements, and we imagine Tony Stark has thrown in a few more bells and whistles to beef up the hero’s arsenal.

Speaking of which, some new promo art has surfaced today and it not only gives us a great look at the suit, but also provides an up-close glance at those much discussed arms, which we recently found out would be included in the film. You can check it out in the gallery down below, which has some previously released merch featuring Spidey’s new duds, too.

Looks pretty cool, eh? How much they’ll be used or even when exactly Peter will get the arms is obviously unknown at this point, but seeing them on the big screen should put a smile on the face of fans and give Spider-Man a boost as he joins forces with the rest of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes to take down Thanos.

Because make no mistake about it, with his Black Order and a fully-powered Infinity Gauntlet, the Mad Titan is all set to be the biggest, baddest threat that Iron Man and co. have ever faced. And with Avengers: Infinity War being positioned as a hugely significant film for the franchise, you can bet that there’ll be some casualties along the way. We can say with certainty that Spidey won’t be one of them, though, and we’re excited to see his Iron Spider suit in action when the pic hits theaters on April 27th.
