Warner Bros. and DC Comics won’t take over Hall H until Saturday, but boots are already on the ground in San Diego for this year’s Comic-Con, and thanks to Collider and Toyark, some new images of the Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice exhibit, showcasing some of the armor and high-tech weaponry that the heroes will use in the pic, have surfaced online.

Batman’s armored suit, clearly inspired by Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns comic, is on full display right now, alongside the Superman and Wonder Woman armor. All of Bats’ weaponry, from Batarangs to grenades, is also out for the world to see.

The amount of design work that went in to each and every prop for the Zack Snyder-directed superhero blockbuster is astounding. Everything we’ve seen from the pic so far has worked to strengthen the gritty, realistic feel of the film, from the grainy sheen of Bats’ armor to the military appearance of his gadgets.

Batman V Superman is without a doubt the most anticipated event of Comic-Con this year, so we’ll be sure to bring you tons of additional coverage leading up to that Hall H presentation. Though the pic doesn’t open until March 29 next year, its importance in the WB/DC cinematic universe is such that it makes sense for the studios to prioritize such a heavy presence at Comic-Con.

Snyder, Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot and more stars from the movie will be making appearances, and there are rumors of additional footage, so be sure to stay tuned!

Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
