While there’s still no confirmation on that just yet, as you can see below, beloved comic book creator Marv Wolfman has taken to social media to reveal that he recently met with Joe Manganiello to talk all things Deathstroke, which is a good sign and bodes well for the project. Plus, getting a seal of approval like this from the character’s creator has to make Manganiello feel good and it may go some way in reassuring fans who aren’t entirely convinced that he’s a good fit for the role. If you ask us, we think he’s perfect and will definitely make a good Deathstroke, but until Warner Bros. starts to peel back the lid on The Batman, people are going to be on the fence in regards to both this particular casting choice and the film as a whole – and understandably so.

Tell us, what are your thoughts on the matter? Do you want to see Manganiello bring Slade Wilson to life on the big screen? Sound off below and let us know!
