Dwayne Johnson’s hulking Mitch Buchannon spearheads the “Avengers of the beach” in the latest action shot from Paramount’s Baywatch movie.

Taking to Facebook just yesterday, the charismatic lead unveiled the ensemble snap, showcasing the film’s leading stars sporting the iconic red swimwear as they make that infamous slow-motion jog towards the camera. From left to right, we can see relative newcomer Kelly Rohrbach, Johnson’s San Andreas co-star Alexandra Daddario, Ilfenesh Hadera, The Rock himself, Neighbors alum Zac Efron and Jon Bass.

It landed online tethered with an appropriately larger-than-life caption, too, with Johnson stating that: “We are the reason you feel safe in the water… We are the reason you feel safe on the sand. We are also literally running iconically in slo-motion because apparently that makes everyone’s kibbles and bits look sexy.”

Ever since stepping foot onto Miami’s sun-kissed beach, Paramount’s Baywatch adaptation has been a hive of activity. Not only has it welcomed series stalwarts to the fray in Pamela Anderson (C.J. Parker) and David Hasselhoff (the original Mitch Buchannon), but we’ve also glimpsed photos of Johnson and Efron’s competing lifeguards out on patrol, as they zero in on the oil tycoon threatening to ruin the town’s prized stretch of sand – played in this instance by Quantico star, Priyanka Chopra.

Directed by Seth Gordon, Baywatch trots off the beach and into theaters in time for May 19, 2017. There, it’ll be opening against Warner Bros.’ anticipated horror sequel Annabelle 2, paving the way for an interesting box office tussle across two vastly different genres.
