Captain America: Civil War Clip Has Vision Come To Terms With The Mind Stone

Of the six Infinity stones scattered across the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it is the Mind Stone that features prominently across the studio’s roster of movies. First cropping up in The Avengers via Loki’s staff, the all-powerful ingot goes on to bestow immense power to the Maximoff siblings and, by the time Captain America: Civil War rolls around, currently resides in the body of Paul Bettany’s synthetic being, The Vision.

It’s a mystical journey that Bettany attempts to wrap his head around in today’s all-new clip for Civil War (via Good Morning America), which shies away from the barnstorming action for the time being to focus on a quieter moment between The Vision and Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch.

As refreshing as it is to see The Vision and Wanda share a moment, once the battle lines are drawn each Avenger will find themselves on opposing teams — teams that comprise the likes of Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd and Tom Holland as Spidey.

Captain America: Civil War is pegged to arrive on these shores come May 6. Tell us, are you ready for Marvel to jump-start Phase Three with a bang?
