Ever since EW’s big blowout of photos, plot details and more earlier this month, fans have been expecting a trailer for Captain Marvel to drop, and sure enough, it looks as if it’ll be here in just a few days.

According to an official ABC press release which breaks down the schedule for next week’s episodes of Good Morning America, Brie Larson will be a guest on the show via satellite on Tuesday, September 18th. Her appearance is expected to come towards the end, at around 6am PT/9am ET, and knowing how Marvel’s past trailer debuts on GMA have gone down, it doesn’t take much to work out that Larson’s likely dropping by to introduce the world’s first look at Captain Marvel.

After all, we’ve been waiting a long, long time to see the Oscar-winning actress in character as Carol Danvers. Larson was first unveiled as the woman to bring Captain Marvel to life back in the summer of 2016 during Marvel Studios’ panel at San Diego Comic-Con. We thought this early casting meant she was to appear in Avengers: Infinity War but, though that was considered, her debut was ultimately held over for her own movie. That said, there was a tease at her incoming arrival at the end of IW which set up her major role in next May’s sequel.

In fact, not to diminish the fun of seeing the first Captain Marvel trailer, but with the marketing for the film now getting underway, that surely means the debut of some Avengers 4 footage can’t be far off. Previous reports have said that it might drop in November, which would make sense as there’s two months between the release of the two movies, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

For now, we can all look forward to the first Captain Marvel trailer on Tuesday, and we’ll be sure to have it for you as soon as it’s available.
