Last week we brought you news that Chris Hemsworth was being courted to take the Huntsman role in the upcoming Snow White and the Huntsman. A long line of potential stars such as Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender, and Viggo Mortensen were all in line but dropped out. The film will take a very post-modern view on the popular Grimm fairytale, the Huntsman who is sent to track and kill Snow White is this time a mentor to her.
If Hemsworth chooses to take the role, he’ll play against Kirsten Stewart who is set to play Snow White. I’m surprised they have finally manage to catch someone to play the part. It has seemed like poison considering the amount of talent to turn the part down. Hemsworth is clearly wanted by Universal due to the success of Thor, which took a staggering $66 million this weekend in the US. Do you think he’ll make a good Huntsman? Let us know in the comments.
