New Clip From Lars Von Trier’s Melancholia

"The Earth is evil" Oh sounds like Lars is a bit depressed again. A new clip from Lars von Trier's new film Melancholia shows Kirsten Dunst mulling over the fate of the world as we know it with co-star Charlotte Gainsbourg. Only short but from this we can see that von Trier is still looking at the state of nature and human races role in it. Melancholia looks very much like it will be a companion piece to his heavily controversial Antichrist, "the Earth is evil" is a very similar line to "Nature is Satan's church" and we look to be going down a similar philosophical path.

The film is premiering at the Cannes Film Festival, which started today so we can expect to hear more from von Trier about Melancholia later in the week. As for now I’m very interested to see the completed product.
