Comic-Con: Screengrabs From Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Star Wars: The Force Awakens took over Hall H last night, and during the presentation, director J.J. Abrams introduced an extensive behind-the-scenes feature packed with peeks at new sets and interviews with cast members both fresh and familiar.

And though there’s no beating the sensation of being in that hall, we’ve taken tons of screenshots from the trailer so that you can agonize over every minute detail of the new footage in order to tease out as many plot details about the upcoming blockbuster sequel as humanly possible.

You’re welcome.

Some of the images are stunning, to say the least. There’s a downed TIE fighter, stormtroopers galore, droids, alien faces, fireballs and one shot of a mysterious prisoner on board the Death Star. Also: Simon Pegg! The actor has finally been confirmed to have at least a small part in The Force Awakens, so it’s great to see his beaming face here.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens on December 18. Check out the images above and let us know what you think.
