Daredevil Star Charlie Cox Still Hasn’t Seen Avengers: Infinity War

Appearing at Amazing Con this weekend, Daredevil star Charlie Cox admitted that he still hasn't seen Avengers: Infinity War.

At over $2 billion and counting, it truly does seem like everyone and their grandmother has seen Avengers: Infinity War by this point. It was without a doubt the year’s most anticipated film and delivered on all of the promises and expectations, with the event movie finding much love amongst both critics and fans.

But believe it or not, there are some people who just don’t care to see it and one of them is Daredevil star Charlie Cox. Appearing at Amazing Con this weekend, the actor admitted to not having seen Infinity War yet, which actually isn’t too surprising. Just a few weeks ago, Cox made headlines when he confessed to knowing nothing about Thanos’ Snap of Doom. Guess he still hasn’t had a chance to catch the pic in the time since that interview?

In all fairness, he has been busy filming season 3 of Daredevil, but still, it’s been months now since the film hit theaters and it only takes a couple of hours to watch it. Not to mention that at this stage, he probably could’ve just asked Marvel for a screener, too.

Regardless, it’s kind of funny that someone who brings an MCU superhero to life has not only missed Avengers: Infinity War, but also managed to avoid all the spoilers. What’s more, Cox’s ignorance about Thanos’ snap confirms that it won’t play any part in the upcoming third season of Daredevil.

You might think we were misguided for expecting anything like this in the first place, but Jessica Jones season 2 did reference elements of Captain America: Civil War, specifically the Raft and how the Sokovia Accords have affected the rights of enhanced persons. It turns out, though, that we shouldn’t expect to see, say, Foggy Nelson turn to dust at the end of Daredevil season 3 when it arrives on Netflix later this year.
