Deadpool 2 Fan Art Imagines Kerry Washington As Domino

In light of yesterday's casting rumor, BossLogic has conjured up a striking piece of artwork that imagines Kerry Washington as Deadpool 2's Domino.

Leave it to PhotoShop genie BossLogic to produce a mock-up of Kerry Washington as Domino. On the heels of yesterday’s Deadpool 2 casting rumor, the prolific concept artist has published a new piece of fan art that imagines Washington, who is purportedly in talks for the villainous part after Sienna Miller (The Lost City of Z) and Gugu Mbatha-Raw dropped out of the race, as the badass Neena Thurman.

Per Screen Rant, this is by no means BossLogic’s first rodeo in the superhero genre, after envisioning what Megan Fox would look like as Poison Ivy in Gotham City Sirens. Now, the spotlight has shifted over to Deadpool 2 and, specifically, the currently vacant role of Domino. We know that Thurman is all set to feature in David Leitch’s follow-up alongside long-time love interest Cable – Pierce Brosnan is the latest (and final?) candidate to emerge for that one – which is another example of Fox laying the foundations for a potential X-Force ensemble movie further down the line.

But let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves just yet; for now, here’s the artist’s impression of Kerry Washington in the role of Domino – albeit with a reverse color effect.

Deadpool 2 is, at the time of writing, still without a release date. That being said, we fully expect Fox to announce the seemingly mind-blowing casting news for both Cable and Domino before the cameras start rolling, and considering co-writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick feel confident that shooting will commence before the year’s end, it shouldn’t be too long before the David Leitch-directed sequel springs into life.
