In these last few days, we’ve already heard of Chris Hemsworth flying to and from Atlanta to film Thor’s final footage for the MCU – with Valkyrie actress Tessa Thompson coming along for the ride – and now a recent tweet from Atlanta Filming suggests that some reshoots for Wanda Maximoff and Mantis are in order.

While Infinity War concluded with half the cast getting disintegrated, it’s becoming increasingly clear that many of our slain heroes will still have substantial parts to play in the highly anticipated sequel. A few weeks ago, for instance, Klementieff’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 co-star Dave Bautista let it slip that the film will feature more of the famed space travelers, though the actor also suggested that with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 on hold, the team’s Avengers 4 scenes may undergo some adjustments.

Olsen, meanwhile, has a pretty substantial future set up for her in the franchise, with a Scarlet Witch TV series reportedly in development for Disney’s planned streaming service. While it’s possible that the show will explore an earlier period in the character’s timeline, Wanda’s chances of a resurrection in next year’s release are looking pretty promising at this point. If so, then perhaps Olsen may one day get her wish of seeing Scarlet Witch team up with the late Peter Parker, the latter of whom is also scheduled to return from the grave in time for next year’s Spider-Man: Far From Home.

In any case, you can expect to see Wanda, Pom, and plenty of their dusted companions back on the big screen when Avengers 4 hits theaters on May 3rd, 2019.
