Another day and another piece of casting news for James Mangold’s The Wolverine 3. Coming hot on the heels of the film entering production, and both Elise Neal and Eriq La Salle hopping on board, we’re now hearing that Fear the Walking Dead actress Elizabeth Rodriguez is in talks to join the flick.

As with all of the previous casting announcements we’ve had so far, her role is being kept under wraps, with the only information available being that she’s playing a “small but key part” in the film. So basically, we have no idea which character she’ll step into the shoes of.

What we do know, however, is that the threequel is going to be based on the famous “Old Man Logan” arc from the comics, which is something fans have wanted to see for a very long time now. That, coupled with a promised R-rating, means that Wolvie will likely go out with a bang in what’s set to be his final appearance.

Also starring Patrick Stewart, Boyd Holbrook, Richard E. Grant and of course, Hugh Jackman, The Wolverine 3 will claw its way into theatres on March 3rd, 2017. But first, everyone’s favorite mutant will be showing up in X-Men: Apocalypse, which releases next week and unfortunately, has been met with mixed reviews.
