Final Trailer For Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald Will Cast A Spell On You

As promised, Warner Bros. has released the final trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald today, and it's sure to cast a spell on you.

This November, David Yates and Warner Bros. will be hoping to avoid the sophomore slump with Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

It’s the second outing in the five-part Harry Potter prequel series, and will feature Jude Law and Johnny Depp in prominent roles. The latter will be bringing to life the illustrious dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald, who was originally a love interest for the young Albus Dumbledore (Law) before his deviant behavior led him down a dark and dangerous path from which there’s no return. Of course, caught in the middle of all this is Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne), who’s now a published author on his way to Paris for a brand new adventure.

And that’s where things really kick off for The Crimes of Grindelwald, though there’s much, much more in store for viewers beyond just that. As this new and final trailer for the sequel promises, fans can expect to be whisked away on another magical journey through the Wizarding World, which will include a stop at Hogwarts.

Yes, the iconic Harry Potter location will be back for Fantastic Beasts 2 and re-visiting it is sure to be a treat for those who remember it fondly. Not to mention Law looks great as Dumbledore in the footage we have here, promising an exciting new take on the classic character, and the Paris setting is sure to be a refreshing change of pace from the first film, which was set mostly in New York.

Potter fans will be able to bear witness to The Crimes of Grindelwald on November 16th. And following that? Well, apparently there’s still three more films to come set in the Fantastic Beasts universe, which proves that, even after 20 years, J.K. Rowling’s rich world of witchcraft and wizardry is still just as as enchanting as it was when it first sprang into existence in the late 90s.
